Small room

the breakfast room and waiting hall are nicely decorated and well situated. The breafast is good, lots of fresh fruits and a convenient set up. The staff is friendly.

Room are microscopicly small with stage beds. No chairs, no tables, one small shelf with some decoration on it. Some rooms do not even have windows. If they have windows these ares of simple construction, the street noise is in the room. Not also the showers and toilets are in the hall way (2 wash rooms with 1 shower + 1 toilet each for 7 rooms x 2 person) but also the sinks are situated in the hall way, not even in an extra room. This set-up does not reflect the price.

Friendly und helpful staff, fresh and good breakfast, clean rooms with modern eqipment including security box , this hotel was the absolute highlight on our trip to Brasil!!!

The rooms are cosy, but small in size

Hotel is directly next to the Opera House. Therefore you have a wonderful view from the terrace. There are several restaurants nearby and the travel agencies from building "Julho 12" are just 100m down the streets. The rooms were clean.

The rooms are very small, and you do not have your own bathroom! The rooms aren't soundproof and you will here the live music from the restaurant next door.

The hotel is really close to the historic city center with the teatro amazonas. It is in one of the side streets leading to the place, so you don't see it from your room but from the very stylish roof terrace. The hotel completely new renovated, everything looked new and well maintained. The breakfast was also great.

The rooms are really small! Keep in mind that the pictures here were made from the best angle possible. The room size does not match the overall style of the hotel: service and style as in a good hotel, room size as in a bad hostel. We two got a room for three (a double bed in the lower and a single bed in the upper), so we could leave our bags on the upper bed. Otherwise there would have been no space to stand. The shared bathrooms are well kept. However, the washbasins are in the hall in front of the bathrooms. Keep in mind, that there is no space in your room to do makeup and hair. It may be not the best place to stay after your jungle trip, when you want to get back to the civilization - but otherwise a nice place to stay (with few luggage).

Casa teatro might not have king size beds, but they are 10 times better than the cleanliness and safety of casa teatro. I'd stay here again if I eer came back to Manaus

The bunkbeds are not perfect, but it's a fact that they don't try to hide. Brazilians are generally loud so you hear lots of noise until 11:30 pm but this is everywhere.

The hotel staff was very nice and obliging when a huge misunderstanding was cleared. In reserving the hotel, Booked.net failed to specify that the rooms I had reserved had a shared bathroom which was most unfortunate. We arrived late, in the middle of the night to discover that. There were no rooms left with bathrooms and the hotel management gave us two tiny rooms with bunk beds (the fact that they were bunk beds did appear in very fine print on the booking confirmation) but I had specificied I wanted one double bed (there was a room with a double bed but it had not been kept for us). To make up for this we were allowed a complimentary room on the last night of our stay as we wanted to rest for a few hours before catching our flight back.

Sehr sauberes, geführtes Hotel mit eigenem Charme was die Dekoration betrifft. Personal sehr feundlich und hilfsbereit. sehr zu empfehlen

Personal etwas chaotisch

Prachtig ingericht hotel, een oase van netheid en rust in het toch zeer drukke en (meestal) vuile Manaus. Uitstekend gelegen vlakbij het bekende theater en plein met mooie gallerijen vol Amazone-kunst. Op het dakterras is het aangenaam vertoeven met een uniek uitzicht op het theater.

Het enige minpunt (en echt het enige) is de geluidsisolatie van de kamers.Het straatlawaai vanaf 6uur 's ochtends tot 's avonds laat (23.00h) kan bij sommigen misschien wat ergernis opwekken.

Dit was mooiste hotel dat we gedurende 3 weken Brazilie bezocht hebben; men kan hier bij wijze van spreken van de grond eten .Hotel heeft heel veel karakter en is perfekt gelegen naast de opera waar het s'avonds goed en veilig toeven is. Hotel heeft mooi dakterras met prachtig zicht op de opera. Airconditioning werkt perfekt en nagenoeg geruisloos. Goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel .

Kamers zijn klein ; weinig plaats voor grote valiezen

Zentrale Lage

Zimmer extrem klein und deshalb ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (4 qm für 140 Rs.!!!). Privates Bad/WC war entgegen der Reservierung nicht vorhanden.

Das Boutique Hotel Casa Teatro liegt wunderbar zentral und ist ideal für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Manaus. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein, aber sauber, wie auch die Badezimmer. Das Hotel hat einen besonderen Charme und die Dachterasse mit Blick auf das Teater lädt zum Verweilen ein.
